The Annual National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Awards

The NACo Achievement Awards is a non-competitive program that seeks to recognize innovative government programs. The County has been very successful over the years in earning recognition for its outstanding, groundbreaking programs. Every year, the County submits its best practices programs for NACo consideration.

The Annual California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Challenge Awards

These unique awards recognize the creative spirit of California Counties as they find innovative, effective and cost-saving ways to provide programs and services to their citizens. Every year, the County submits applications to highlight its best practices while recognizing the staff responsible for such innovations. In 2020, the County submitted 49 nominations. Winners will be announced in November.
