The March of Dimes Campaign runs annually from January 1st through June 30th. All voluntary donations and fundraisers during this time benefit the County’s campaign which supports pregnancy and healthy babies. Each year, nearly 4,000,000 babies are born in the United States, and March of Dimes touches each one of them through research, education, support, and advocacy.
Year after year, LA County employees have been the top public sector contributors to the MOD. There are several ways to support this voluntary annual campaign. County employees contribute by forming departmental teams of walkers. Register for the walk online and join your LA County department’s team page to help reach the goal.
Employees also support by participating in MOD’s Blue Jeans for Babies, when employees can donate $5 per day to wear jeans to work! We also have discounted tickets to theme parks, sporting events, and other seasonal events which have a nominal donation that helps the boost the campaign.
