Resources for County Employees > EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE CENTERS

The County is very sensitive to the challenges that our employees affected by the wildfires have faced and incredibly appreciative of their continued efforts and dedication as public servants. We understand that it may be difficult to access services and resources while trying to balance competing demands.

To support these employees and their families, the Chief Executive Office, Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Human Resources (DHR) have partnered to host Employee Assistance Centers that will be exclusively available to LA County employees seeking wildfire recovery services.

These events will bring together representatives from key federal, State, and local agencies, including our Departments of Public Health, Mental Health, Consumer & Business Affairs, DHR’s Employee Assistance Program, and external partners (Empower and our health care insurance companies) to provide direct support and service.

The next sessions will be held as follows:

  • Federal Emergency Management Services (FEMA)
  • Small Business Administration

  • Department of Human Resources (Employee Wellness, Employee Assistance, Leave Management)
