Ways to Help > Disaster Service Worker Program

The County and its agency partners are working together to provide comprehensive services so those affected have what they need to rebuild their lives.  One way that our employees can help this effort is to be ready to assist as a Disaster Services Worker (DSW).  A DSW is a public employee who provides assistance and service to the community in times of crisis.  County employees have always responded willingly to the call to serve during the emergencies and disasters we face in Southern California.

All County employees are Disaster Service Workers.

If you are interested in being deployed to a DSW mission, we thank you for helping us to increase our capacity to be effective in this tremendous effort and encourage you to reach out to your departmental management.  To learn more about the DSW Program, please visit https://employee.hr.lacounty.gov/dsw-home/.
