    • The microsite is designed to provide information on getting support, plan options, wellness incentives, healthy living, and personalized care
    • Instructions for essential workers on where to get tested and how to file claims for reimbursement are also included on the microsite
      • It is recommended that asymptomatic workers receive diagnostic testing at external licensed, independent facilities (such as CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart)
      • Most facilities will bill Kaiser directly; however, if a members is required to pay out of pocket, members can go to kp.org to request reimbursement

Anthem Blue Cross (Anthem)

  • Anthem provided members with the following information regarding COVID-19 viral testing:

    • While waiting for your results, you will need to avoid contact with other people; clean and disinfect any surfaces you regularly touch; wear a face covering when you move around your house; and have family members do the same when they interact with you
    • If you test positive for COVID-19, but have no symptoms, you should self-quarantine for at least 10 days. If you are symptomatic, you should isolate yourself until 10 days after your symptoms first appeared (or beginning 24 hours after your fever has passed and your symptoms have improved.
