Kaiser Permanente (Kaiser)

  • Kaiser provided “care reminders” for members to consider during the upcoming holiday season. Reminders included:
    • The appointment call center offers 24/7 live agent support for members seeking advice and/or scheduling appointments
    • Getting a flu shot before Thanksgiving
    • Celebrating safely at home as the best way to protect yourself and others
    • If you must travel…1) know you are healthy before you go, 2) wear a protective mask in public settings, 3) maintain at least six feet apart from anyone not a part of your household, 4) washing your hands frequently or using hand sanitizer

 

  • Kaiser provided a flyer with information on statewide diagnostic testing available to essential workers. Information included:
    • How to self-schedule a diagnostic test
    • Frequency of testing
    • Getting tested outside of Kaiser Permanente
    • Defining of an essential worker, based on Department of Managed Healthcare guidelines
